Anvil Assault: Atomic Alien Annihilation

Love bullet hell games? Love spaceships and arcade style gameplay? Well here’s our take on the genre. Welcome to Anvil Assault: Atomic Alien Annihilation. With a small team of of college students, we’ve crafted a video game that takes players on an adventure fighting the evil atomic aliens who seek to conquer the galaxy!

Plot

In the future, humans (also known as “The Dumb Ones” to alien races) begin to colonize other planets. It’s basically your stereo-typical space opera setup. Meanwhile, an advanced alien civilization has been studying man from a distance since their inception. Great! We’ve all heard that story before! But wait! One day, a single Earth man commits an act at a party that is so moronic, so incredibly naive, that the alien race just could not stand for it anymore, ushering in the eradication of the entire human species. You (the player) are among those targeted, and you are pretty much the only thing that stands in their way! You must lead an assault against the aliens using a military-grade Anvil Drone (which is perhaps man’s only noteworthy achievement). Fight for humanity’s survival! But take solace in the fact that should you fail, at least the guy who sparked this war will perish as well!
